Week 3 (6/19/22)

We are almost a month into the project. The first house has now began construction at 148 Holyoke St (📍42.2509N, 72.6545W) in the garage area, and with my keyboard coming for my new tablet on 6/20/22, beginning tomorrow, progress should begin to pick up. The East St & Holyoke St intersection has continued construction to as far north as 42.2511N.

Here's what we've got from Week 3 (6/12/22-6/18/22, but also 6/19/22)

Before we get to the details, here is some project information. This is a project that started on May 29, 2022 to build the entirety of the city of Easthampton MA, USA in Minetest, a Minecraft related game with hundreds of mods (installed) that is also 100% FREE. For more details on Minetest, visit  minetest.net . After 1 week of the project (5/29/22-6/4/22), this is how far we've gotten. The first block was placed at 42.25, -72.6545 on May 29, 2022 and now construction has continued further north to 42.2508, -72.6538 as of June 5, 2022 with most of that road completed nearly to East St. No houses have been built yet, but partial driveways have been built along with a partial hill. Due to copyright reasons, there will not be a IRL comparison photo at this time, but I hope there will be one by the end of Week 2. Week 2 (6/12/22)

For Week 2 of the project (6/5/22-6/11/22, although I am including 6/12/22 as that is when most of the work happened), progress has made it to the East St & Mountain Rd/Holyoke St intersection (📍42.251N, 72.654W) where a stop sign AND street sign has been installed. Road construction has continued roughly to 42.251N, 72.654W, where the road is planned to continue northwest. Houses will likely begin construction in week 3 or 4. Main sign announcing project, same as one in Week 1, taken today. (Week 2/3) Mountain Rd/Holyoke St (MA-141 W) going northwest towards East St. As you can see, a street sign and stop sign are now here at 42.251N, 72.654W. Facing south from the stop sign.
